Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework components
There are three basic components that make up an EA:
Types of EA frameworks
The type of EA framework used will differ depending on the type of enterprise architecture chosen. Some of these enjoy widespread adoption across the software industry as de-facto standards for framework implementation, while others are closely related to more specific initiatives.
Some frameworks that are considered standard across the industry include:
Zachman Framework
The Zachman Framework is an enterprise ontology and is the foundational structure for enterprise architecture that provides a formal and structured way to view and define the enterprise. An ontology is a two-dimensional classification scheme that reflects the intersection between two historical classifications

TOGAF
The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) is the most widely used framework for enterprise architecture as of 2020 that provides an approach to designing, planning, implementing and governing enterprise information technology architecture. TOGAF is a high-level approach to design.

Open Agile Architecture (O-AA)
Open Agile Architecture takes a results-based, customer-focused and product-centric approach to guide business and technology leaders through this transformation. Product-centered refers to the transition from a temporary organizational structure - the project - to a permanent one.

MyGovEA
MyGovEA formerly known as 1GovEA is a government initiative that was introduced in 2015 to support the implementation of Digital Government and the goal of paperless government under the E-Government Communication, Content and Infrastructure programme.
The MyGovEA Master Plan was launched in August 2015. The implementation of the MyGovEA Master Plan received the support of the National Top Management in the Public Sector CIO Panel Meeting on 10 April 2013 and the Government IT and Internet Committee Meeting (JITIK) on 7 November 2014.
The master plan includes three (3) main components prepared in three (3) different document volumes. First, the MyGovEA framework that explains the core elements in building and implementing EA practices; secondly, the MyGovEA methodology provides a guide to EA development and implementation steps for each level; and third, an implementation plan that outlines EA implementation strategies at the central and implementing agency levels.
MyGovEA Framework
The MyGovEA Framework consists of six (6) components namely Vision, Architecture Domain, Principles, Methodology, Tools & Repository and Governance as below:

The main objective of the MyGovEA framework is to provide a uniform approach, implementation methods and templates to ensure consistent EA development in the public sector.
