Why is it necessary to create Guidelines? Guidelines are documents that are a reference for agencies or institutions to carry out tasks, activities or programs. Universiti Putra Malaysia has its own guidelines as well as the implementation of information and communication technology (ICT).
The Infocomm Development Center (iDEC) is responsible for planning, developing and implementing ICT activities and projects in line with its mission, which is to "Develop and strengthen teaching, research and administrative systems through the provision of information and technology systems widely and comprehensively".
Policies, Policies and Guidelines are one of the scopes in the Universiti Putra Malaysia Digitization Plan. The list of documents that fall under this scope is:

The guidelines are reviewed and updated and approved at a certain committee level to ensure continuity and relevance to the current year. Having this document will make assignments more organized and become a guide and reference for university students.
