21 January 2025, Serdang - The Ministry of Higher Education has issued a directive for all public universities (IPTA) to adopt the Sistem Pengurusan Pengaduan Awam (SISPAA) in managing university complaints. A total of 16 UPM staff attended a briefing on the implementation and use of SISPAA, which was held at the Bahagian Pengurusan Aduan, Presint 1, Pusat Pentadbiran Kerajaan Persekutuan. The briefing was conducted by the Biro Pengaduan Awam Jabatan Perdana Menteri.

Previously, the Centre for Corporate Strategy and Relations conducted a benchmarking visit to the Customer Service Division of UKM on October 4, 2024, to observe and learn about best practices in customer service management and the use of the Sistem Pengurusan Aduan Awam (SISPAA) implemented by the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The visit was also attended by representatives from the InfoComm Development Centre, Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Alumni Relations Centre, School of Graduate Studies, and University Health Centre.
