Serdang, March 17, 2025 – The Kelab Kebajikan dan Rekreasi iDEC (KRiDEC) organized the Ramadan Tazkirah: Yearning for Forgiveness, Seeking Mercy on Monday, March 17, 2025. This program is part of the Ihya’ Ramadan initiative, aimed at fostering religious practices and deepening the spiritual experience of Ramadan among members of the Information and Communication Development Center (iDEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
The tazkirah was delivered by Al-Fadhil Ustaz Muhammad Norhisyam from the UPM Islamic Center in a physical session at Putra@Smart Classroom, iDEC Alpha, with the presence of KRiDEC committee members. The session was also accessible online for broader participation.
During the session, Ustaz Muhammad Norhisyam emphasized the importance of embracing noble practices during Ramadan, such as seeking forgiveness, making frequent supplications for divine mercy, and increasing acts of worship. He highlighted that Ramadan is a blessed time when the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, prayers are answered, and the opportunity for Allah’s forgiveness is vast for those who sincerely worship.
The program concluded with a Q&A session, allowing participants to seek further clarification on the topics discussed. It is hoped that this tazkirah will inspire all attendees to enhance their spiritual practices throughout this blessed month of Ramadan.
