28 February 2025, SERDANG – The Information and Communication Development Centre (iDEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), extends its highest appreciation and gratitude to YBrs. Ts. Mohd. Faizal Daud upon his official retirement from service on 28 February 2025. His retirement marks a significant moment for iDEC, as the Centre bids farewell to a valued colleague who has dedicated his service, expertise and commitment to supporting the university’s information and communication technology development. Throughout his years of service, he played an important role in contributing to various digital initiatives and supporting efforts to strengthen ICT operations and service delivery at UPM. His contributions extended beyond his official responsibilities, particularly through the ideas, insights and innovative approaches he brought to the development of digital initiatives. His forward-thinking perspective and willingness to explore new approaches in the field of digital technology have been an inspiration to the iDEC community. His extensive experience and expertise also served as a valuable source of knowledge and guidance for colleagues. His professionalism, dedication and commitment to fulfilling his responsibilities demonstrated the importance of excellence, teamwork and continuous improvement in delivering ICT services. These qualities have left a positive impression on those who had the opportunity to work alongside him. The iDEC community also extends its best wishes for good health, ease in all future endeavours, and continued blessings and mercy from Allah SWT.
