18 Disember 2024, Serdang - The Fundamentals of Enterprise Architecture (EA) course was held on 18 to 20 December 2024 at the Zetta Training Room, iDEC Alpha. The course organized by the Infocomm Development Center (iDEC), was attended by several officers from PTJ other than iDEC. Ts. Esmawaty Mohamad is a very experienced instructor and also a Training Consultant at the Institute of National Administration (INTAN).

The course session is followed by exercises, to ensure that each topic presented is understood by the participants. The implementation of EA can realize the organization's strategy across the domain of business, data, application and technology (BDAT) to benefit from convergence and alignment of business and ICT strategies as well as collaborative strengthening across agencies through the sharing of information, services, data and infrastructure.

Modules:

1. MyGOVEA methodology
2. Metamodel on viewpoints correctly
3. EA chart based on Archimate 3.2 elements

Objectives:

1. Explain the phases in the MyGOVEA methodology correctly according to the MyGovEA Guide: Implementation of a Structured Design Approach to Public Service Organization Ecosystems
2. Apply how to use metamodels on viewpoints correctly according to the notes given during training.
3. Verbally translate the EA diagram given during the training based on Archimate 3.1 elements clearly

Hopefully all participants will be able to understand and cultivate EA practices where they will be able to assess the strengths and limitations of existing businesses, services and technology to support efficiency, productivity and innovation in information and communication technology (ICT) for the purpose of optimizing service delivery to the people.
