Serdang, 16 August 2022 : The Infocomm Development Center (iDEC) is pleased to receive a visit from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in conjunction with the Benchmark Work Visit to Universiti Putra Malaysia. A total of 13 USM officials attended iDEC and information sharing sessions related to their respective agencies' ICT were held at the beginning of the meeting.

USM's Knowledge, Communication & Technology Center (PPKT) was established in December 2002. Three departmental entities that provide ICT services have been combined under one service center. The combined services consist of Administrative, Academic and Management ICT services (MIS). PPKT acts as a center that provides competent and effective ICT services for the campus community and related external communities.

It is hoped that with this visit, USM will share information that can be used as a reference and guide for the future.
