9 Oktober 2022 – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), launched the Putra Voucher, as well as providing Laptops and Data Assistance to B40 students at the Joint Vice-Chancellor's Ceremony and New Student Pledge Recitation Session 2022/2023. UPM Vice Chancellor, YH. Dato' Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman said, this initiative is to help B40 students to be able to continue their studies and survive while on campus.

"I hope this help will be a catalyst for new students to strive to study hard and be utilized during their studies on campus to succeed in the future," he said. Putra Voucher is a concept of food purchase assistance by using an application on the phone at a cafe in the UPM campus for students under the age of 40 in various years of study.

UPM also donated 100 units of laptops to 100 B40 students worth RM300,000.00 as a result of UPM staff's contribution through the Waqf, Zakat and Endowment Management Center (WAZAN), UPM.

In addition, *Data Assistance* to UPM B40 Students worth RM500,000.00 to 600 students *as a result of the initiative of the Infocommu Development Center (iDEC), UPM amounting to RM300,000.00* and the initiative of the Student Affairs Division (BHEP), UPM worth RM200, 000.00.

Meanwhile, a total of 3,553 new Bachelor's program students registered at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) for the 2022/2023 academic session at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) today consisting of 1,116 male students and 2,437 female students.
