Infocomm Development Center (iDEC) would like to congratulate YBhg. Prof. Ts. Dr. M Iqbal Saripan on appointment to Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Quality Assurance) MQA at the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) effective 1 August 2024.

We would also like to say a million thanks for all the cooperation and contributions that have been given during our service at iDEC. 

He is a Professor involved in the following research fields:

1. Nuclear Physics - MCNP
2. Biomedical Engineering – Monte Carlo Simulation, Automatic Disease Detection, etc
3. Signal Processing – Medical Images, Satellite Images, Audio and Video Processing, etc.
4. Artificial Intelligence – Neural Network, Fuzzy, Adaptive, etc
5. RFID and WSN – Emerging technology

In addition to teaching at the Faculty of Engineering, UPM, he is also a consultant in certain fields and active in auditing.
