Serdang, 27 July 2025 – The Universiti Putra Malaysia Staff Sports Championship (SUSTAF) 2025 concluded on a high note as Team 2 emerged as the overall champion with an impressive 109 points, outpacing their closest rivals, Team 7 (96 points) and Team 8 (84 points).

Team 2, comprising the Faculty of Educational Studies (FPP), Faculty of Forestry and Environment (FHAS), Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Sports Academy (AS), Institute for Social Science Studies (IPSAS), Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP), and the InfoComm Development Centre (iDEC), showcased outstanding performance throughout the championship.

Under the leadership of Contingent Leader Ts. Syemsul Bahrim Bin Abdul, Team 2 excelled in various events, winning gold and silver medals as follows:

This achievement is not solely the result of physical strength, but also the outcome of unity, teamwork, and the strong fighting spirit shown by all staff from various responsibility centers (PTJs) united under Team 2.

The management and SUSTAF committee also extend their highest appreciation to all competing contingents, especially Team 2, for their tireless efforts and dedication that led to success.
