Serdang, October 24, 2024 – The Information and Communication Technology Committee (JKTMK) meeting of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) was held on October 24, 2024, at the Sri Amar Room, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, UPM. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Ts. Dr. Nurfadhlina Mohd Sharef, Deputy Director (Policy and ICT Digitalization), acting as the Chief Digital Officer of iDEC, and attended by members from various departments.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss current issues related to the development and coordination of information technology at UPM, including strategies for IT infrastructure enhancement and cybersecurity measures. Several important decisions were made to strengthen the university’s information technology systems and improve the quality of digital services for the campus community.

The meeting also served as a platform to introduce new initiatives in educational and research technology at UPM, in line with the university's vision to become a world-class institution in the fields of technology and innovation.
