SMK Pendeta Za’ba Graduation Ceremony of Form 5, 2019

 

Palm Seremban Hotel, 29 September 2019 : Director of InfoComm Development Center (iDEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatimah Sidi, invited to officiate the Graduation Ceremony of Form 5, 2019 6th, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Pendeta Za'ba, Paroi Jaya Park, 70400, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus. The event was held in honor of the Integrated Special Education Program (PPKI) students and Form 5 students who are now in their final year of school.

Pricipal of SMK Pendeta  Za'ba, Mr Haji Awalludin bin Mat Din, who is an UPM alumni, hopes that such an event will bring the students' love and affection to the school where knowledge is demanded while providing sweet experiences and memories throughout the school at SMK Pendeta Za 'ba. He also expects it to be a catalyst in realizing the excellence of every student and the school in general. The ceremony was attended by teachers, celebrated parents and students, and special presence of Deputy Chief Education Officer Dearah Seremban, the Honorable Mr. Azhar bin Hashim and the NYDP PIBG SMK Pendeta Za'ba, Mr Abdul Rahman bin Wasis are also UPM alumni.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatimah Sidi, Director of the InfoComm Development Center (iDEC) UPM, organizes such events as well as motivating, stimulating and remembering students to improve their psychological and intellectual preparation to achieve outstanding results. Indeed, obtaining excellent results in the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) examination is very important in pursuing a higher level of knowledge. She also said the Institution of Higher Education is a place where students will continue to study at Certificate, Diploma and Degree level and further on to Masters and Doctor of Philosophy in certain fields. It is also possible that students will be offered to continue their studies at renowned universities abroad with government or private sponsorships.

Congratulations to the students who received the award and were named as 'Tokoh'. Four awards were presented namely the Noble Person (Za'ba Award) awarded to Nur Farah Amirah bint Hasdi; The Co-Curricular Character (Misbun Award) was received by Irdina Qaisara binti Zakri; Leadership figure (Tun Mahathir's award) was conferred on Muhammad Amir bin Mansor; and the academic figure (Ungku Aziz Award) presented to Muhammad Danish bin Razlanshah.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatimah Sidi also advised and reminded students to reading the Quran daily (if they have not already done so) while awaiting examination day. If the Quranic verse had been flowing in our bodies, In Syaa Allah SPM exam sitting would have been easy. Remember that it was the miracle of the Prophet Muhammad till the end of time. We wish the students the best and brightest results in the SPM examination.
