22 August 2024, Serdang - The Department of Information Technology (JTM) of Universiti Malaya led by Mrs. Marina Mansor Director, Digital Solutions and Development Center held a benchmark visit to the Infocomm Development Center (iDEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). A total of 38 JTM staff and 29 iDEC staff have been involved in this visit which aims to share experiences and the latest technology used at iDEC. Throughout the visit, the participants were divided according to discussion topics relevant to their respective fields. Topics discussed include ICT Governance, Smart Campus, User Support, and Data Center Operations. This visit provides an opportunity for JTM and iDEC staff to learn best practices and innovative technologies that can be applied in efforts to advance the ICT infrastructure in their respective universities.
