July 17, 2025, Serdang – The Qibla Direction Determination and Verification Program for the prayer spaces in iDEC buildings was successfully conducted on Thursday, July 17, 2025. The program, organized by the iDEC Welfare and Recreation Club (KRiDEC), involved the presence of officers from the Selangor State Mufti Department who conducted verifications at all iDEC buildings: Alpha, Gamma, Sigma, and Beta.

A total of four officers were present to carry out the checks, which began around 11:00 a.m. and concluded by 3:00 p.m. The process was conducted meticulously using location coordinates, a laser alignment device, protractor, and manually drawn Qibla direction sketches. Each verification session was also accompanied by representatives from the respective buildings.

This program is an initiative by KRiDEC to ensure that the Qibla direction in iDEC’s prayer spaces is accurately and authoritatively determined, in accordance with Islamic rulings. This effort reflects iDEC’s commitment to meeting the basic religious needs of its community.

KRiDEC extends its appreciation to the Selangor State Mufti Department for their willingness to participate and to all building representatives for their cooperation throughout the session. It is hoped that this verification will provide lasting confidence and benefit to the iDEC community in fulfilling their religious obligations.
