Next-Gen Professionals Worskhop - Pioneering Standards and Conformance in Emerging Technologies

 

19 November 2024, Putrajaya: The Malaysian Standards Department (JSM) organized the Next-Gen Professionals Workshop: Pioneering Standards and Compliance in Emerging Technologies program at the DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside Hotel which was officiated by Pn. Nor Latifah Hussin, Director of Strategic Planning, JSM. The program was attended by final year students from public and private higher education institutions.

The presentation topics are as follows:

  1. Malaysia's National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Roadmap - Mrs. Nik Siti Fadilah Yaacob (MOSTI)
  2. New Generation of Professionals AI & Cyber Security - Mr. Nazri Ahmad Zamani (Cyber Security Malaysia)
  3. Standards for New and Emerging Technologies at International Fora dan Impact Study of AI - Profesor Ts. Dr. Nurfadhlina Mohd Sharef (Universiti Putra Malaysia dan Ahli TC 17 - Artificial Intelligence
  4. Digital and Green Economy on the Malaysian Workforce - Mrs. Syaza Nazura Noor Azmi (TalentCorp)

 

The following agencies are the agencies involved in the preparation of national-level policies on AI in Malaysia:

  1. National Blockchain and AI Working Committee, MOSTI
  2. AI Standards Committee, Standards Department
  3. National Digital Ministry
  4. National Digital Department
  5. Department of National Artificial Intelligence
