KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 – Some iDEC staff with the delegation of Ybhg. Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Dato' Professor Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah attended the Malaysia Artificial Intelligence Nexus 2024 (MY AI NEXUS) which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, YAB Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, at Dewan Merdeka, World Trade Center, today.

MY AI NEXUS aims to bring together renowned experts in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in universities, industry, agencies and related stakeholders in an effort to drive the availability of AI in Malaysia.

Minister of Higher Education, Dato' Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir said the development of AI involves the entire related ecosystem including Institutes of Higher Education (IPT), government and private agencies and related industries. Today's technological progress is greatly influenced by new environments including the development of AI in various ecosystems that cannot be denied. This change and speed is summed up in the 'whole of government approach' collaboration.
