Serdang, 9 June 2025 – The Welfare and Recreation Club of iDEC (KRiDEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), successfully organized the Qurban Program for 1446H/2025M at the Serdang Agricultural Complex Mosque, UPM. The program aimed to foster the spirit of sacrifice and strengthen the bonds of camaraderie among iDEC members.

A cow was sacrificed through the collective participation of iDEC staff as qurban contributors. The slaughtering process went smoothly, followed by meat processing and distribution activities carried out in a communal spirit by KRiDEC volunteers.

The qurban meat was distributed to the participants, identified deserving recipients within the UPM community, and selected external beneficiaries such as the Baitul Ulfah Centre. A portion of the meat was also prepared at Alpha Building, Putra Infoport, to be shared with surrounding staff members, fulfilling the value of sharing sustenance with neighbours.

KRiDEC extends heartfelt appreciation to all qurban participants for their contributions and to the volunteers who made the event a success. This program not only reinforced the value of sacrifice but also highlighted the spirit of teamwork and unity within the workplace community.
