SERDANG, 14 March 2025 – The iDEC Welfare and Recreation Club (KRiDEC), Information and Communication Development Centre (iDEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), organised the Kongsi Manis Taufufa Programme as an initiative to embrace the spirit of Ramadan through sharing and giving. The programme also served as an avenue to strengthen relationships and foster a stronger sense of togetherness among iDEC staff.

The programme began with a Tau Fu Fah packing session held at the Alpha Building, iDEC. The activity involved KRiDEC committee members and iDEC staff volunteers who came together to prepare and pack the dessert. Their enthusiasm, cooperation and willingness to contribute their time made the activity meaningful while strengthening teamwork among colleagues.

Upon completion, the packed Tau Fu Fah was distributed to iDEC staff and also shared with the surrounding community at Putra Infoport. Beyond simply distributing food, the initiative symbolised care, generosity and the spirit of sharing blessings with others during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Kongsi Manis Taufufa Programme received a positive response from the iDEC community. In addition to creating a more cheerful and harmonious workplace atmosphere, the programme provided an opportunity for staff to interact and strengthen camaraderie in a relaxed and meaningful setting.

The initiative also reflects KRiDEC’s commitment to organising welfare and community-oriented activities that benefit both iDEC staff and the surrounding community. Such programmes play an important role in fostering a caring workplace culture while encouraging staff to practise values of generosity, cooperation and social responsibility.

The programme is expected to continue in the future as part of KRiDEC’s annual activities, bringing greater joy and meaningful experiences to the iDEC community. Through initiatives such as Kongsi Manis Taufufa, the spirit of Ramadan can be translated into meaningful actions that strengthen relationships, encourage mutual care and cultivate a culture of sharing within the workplace and beyond.
