Serdang, 20 May 2026 – The InfoComm Development Centre (iDEC) conducted the Internal Audit of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) ISO/IEC 27001:2022 on 19 to 20 May 2026 (Tuesday–Wednesday). This internal audit is part of the ongoing monitoring and evaluation mechanism to assess the effectiveness of ISMS implementation in compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard.

The audit process was conducted by an internal audit team led by the Chief Internal Auditor (KJAD), Pn. Yasminani Mohamad, supported by six auditors and three trainee auditors. The audit sessions were divided into three groups to ensure a more structured and comprehensive execution.

This audit also involved active participation from management and staffs to ensure the process was carried out in a thorough, systematic, and effective manner. The Audit Opening Meeting was held on 19 May 2026 (Tuesday) at the Meeting Room, iDEC Beta Building, with the participation of 55 iDEC staff members online.

Meanwhile, the Audit Closing Meeting was held on 20 May 2026 (Wednesday), attended by 51 iDEC staff members online, to present the audit findings and improvement recommendations identified during the audit process.

The attendance and commitment of all parties throughout the opening session, audit activities, and closing meeting reflect iDEC’s strong commitment to fostering good information security governance practices and strengthening a culture of continuous improvement in ICT service delivery.

Overall, the ISMS Internal Audit 2026 was conducted smoothly according to the planned schedule and provided a clear indication of iDEC’s level of readiness in managing organizational information security. The implementation of this audit is expected to further enhance iDEC’s compliance with the requirements of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard and strengthen ICT risk management within iDEC.
