Serdang, January 2026 – The InfoComm Development Centre (iDEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), warmly welcomes Ms. Intan Harnila Abdullah as an Executive Officer, Strategic Management and ICT Governance Division, iDEC, effective 21 January 2026.

Her appointment is expected to further strengthen iDEC’s organisational capacity, particularly in supporting strategic management and information and communication technology (ICT) governance initiatives at UPM. The Strategic Management and ICT Governance Division plays an important role in ensuring that the University’s ICT planning, coordination and implementation are carried out systematically, effectively and in alignment with UPM’s strategic direction.

In her role as Executive Officer, Ms. Intan Harnila Abdullah will work alongside iDEC personnel in supporting various responsibilities related to strategic management and ICT governance. Her responsibilities will include supporting coordination activities, documentation, monitoring and administrative matters associated with the functions of the division. Her contribution is also expected to support the continuous improvement of ICT service delivery and strengthen the implementation of the University’s digitalisation agenda.

iDEC extends its warmest welcome and appreciation to Ms. Intan Harnila Abdullah as she joins the iDEC family. Her presence is expected to bring added value, fresh perspectives and positive synergy to the Centre, particularly in strengthening strategic management and ICT governance practices.
