11 June 2024, Terengganu : The ICT Transformation and Excellence Program organized by the Digital Ecosystem Center, UMT, takes place from 11 to 13 June 2024. This program aims to increase ICT excellence, expertise, and technology sharing among Public University (UA) staff. Participants from UPM as well as other institutions took part in various activities throughout the program.

On the first day, participants gathered at Jeti Duyung, Kuala Terengganu before leaving for the UMT Natural Research Station on Bidong Island. The activity started with a general briefing by the Deputy Camp Commandant, followed by the distribution of accommodation. Participants then participate in water confident activities that aim to increase confidence in water.

Technology sharing sessions were held in the afternoon and evening by representatives from EContent, Time, and CISCO, providing the latest knowledge and skills in the field of ICT. The second day continued with group exercises such as Vietnamese heritage activities, kayaking, and team building games. Independent activities such as scuba and snorkeling are also available for participants.

On the second night, participants enjoyed a BBQ while strengthening friendships. The program concludes with a closing ceremony on the morning of the last day, where the winners' certificates and hampers are given to the participants. Let's clean up the beach activity was also held before the participants left for home.
