21 Mac 2025, Serdang - The Khatam Al-Quran and Tahlil 2025/1446H ceremony was organized by the iDEC Welfare and Recreation Club (KRiDEC) as one of the initiatives in the Ihya’ Ramadan Program to enliven the practice and enhance the appreciation of Ramadan among iDEC staff. The ceremony was held on 21 March 2025 (Friday), at 9.00 am online via the Google Meet platform.

The reciters involved recited the common surahs face-to-face at the Putra@Smart Classroom, iDEC Alpha, Universiti Putra Malaysia, while the attendees joined the ceremony virtually. The Khatam Al-Quran recitation began with Surah Ad-Dhuha and ended with Surah An-Nas, led by seven appointed reciters.

The ceremony continued with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and the first to fifth verses of Surah Al-Baqarah as a sign that the recitation and appreciation of the Al-Quran should be continued in daily life. Next, the ceremony was followed by the recitation of tahlil to remember and pray for the well-being of the deceased who had been registered, led by the head reciter.
