15 May 2025, SERDANG – The InfoComm Development Centre (iDEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), welcomed an EKSA Benchmarking Visit from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM) and the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Arts and Culture Centre (PKKSSAAS) as part of efforts to strengthen the implementation of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) practices across the university’s Centres of Responsibility (PTJs).
The programme commenced with a briefing on EKSA implementation at iDEC, delivered by Puan Azhana Abdullah, iDEC EKSA Coordinator. The briefing provided an overview of the approaches, practices, and initiatives undertaken by iDEC staff in creating a workplace environment that is organised, clean, safe, conducive, and systematic.
A total of 8 delegates from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM) and 14 delegates from the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Arts and Culture Centre (PKKSSAAS) participated in the programme and had the opportunity to engage in knowledge-sharing and discussions on EKSA implementation. The delegation was subsequently taken on a tour of the iDEC environment at InfoPort, including the Alpha, Gamma, and Sigma EKSA Zones, to gain first-hand insight into the EKSA practices and improvement activities implemented across the respective zones.
The benchmarking visit also served as a platform for both parties to exchange experiences, share best practices, and generate creative ideas for strengthening EKSA implementation according to the specific environment and requirements of their respective PTJs.
Overall, the programme provided a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange, experience sharing, and the generation of new ideas that can contribute to more effective EKSA implementation. It is hoped that the strategic relationship between iDEC and the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM) and the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Arts and Culture Centre (PKKSSAAS) will continue to be strengthened through similar initiatives, supporting the development of a quality-driven, systematic, and sustainable workplace culture across UPM.
