Serdang, 1 August 2025 – An official meeting was held between the User Support Division of the Infocomm Development Centre (iDEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and Enfrasys Solution Sdn. Bhd. to discuss potential collaboration and the implementation of the latest technologies in UPM’s learning and management environment through Microsoft 365 solutions.

UPM was represented by the Head of the User Support Division (BSP), Mr. Rizal Razak, together with BSP ICT Section Heads: Mr. Mohamad Hafiz Bin Mohamad Zamri, Mr. Ku Haizal Ku Halim, Mr. Rosrizal Mohd Zain, Ts. Saiful Ramadzan Hairani, Ts. Mazlimin Omar, and Ts. Farid Harun.

Enfrasys Solution Sdn. Bhd. was represented by Ms. Norizatul Syilla Binti Mohamad Samsudin, Mr. Muhammad Fathi Ubaidi Bin Jamaludin, and Mr. Zachary Numan Kagawa.

The meeting began with an introduction to cloud-based solution components by Mr. Muhammad Fathi. Among the matters discussed was UPM’s Microsoft A3 license package, in which some components have not yet been fully utilized. In this regard, a dedicated session with the UPM team will be arranged to further explore the potential use of these components.

Enfrasys also presented the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) architecture and proposed a Proof of Concept (POC) for multimedia classes, involving one or two classes for a week. This case study will be used to assess the full requirements for VDI at UPM. In addition, proposals were discussed to explore a proof-of-concept (POC) for Copilot Studio and Microsoft Teams’ calling features.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to hold further discussions to explore more innovative technological solutions, thereby supporting UPM’s digital transformation in line with the university’s aspirations toward excellence.
