Thursday 11 May 2017, ICT Infrastructure Division (BIT), iDEC briefs the head of division and head of the iDEC section on the implementation of the UPMNET Network Access Control System at UPM Serdang Campus. The description in iDEC Epsilon is to prepare all section heads and heads of sections to provide technical support and consultancy to users of the UPM network system.

Implementation of the UPMNET Network Access Control System will impact UPM network system users who will be accessing the Internet as they need to enter the UPM-ID username and password to enable access to the Internet. This change may be misleading to the user, therefore the Infrastructure Division (BIT), iDEC performs initial preparations to provide an explanation as a basic knowledge input to the head of the segment to assist users if referenced.
