SERDANG, 28 November 2019 : The InfoComm Development Center (iDEC) has been training for BLOCKCHAIN ​​and SMART CONTRACT TECHNOLOGY for 5 days beginning on November 28, 2019 and ending on December 4, 2019. This training is intended to provide exposure and basic knowledge to staff iDEC on Blockchain and Smart Contract Technolgy.

A total of 38 iDEC staff from various sections were invited to participate in the training. Director of the InfoComm Development Center (iDEC), Prof. Madya Dr. Fatimah Sidi and Deputy Director (Strategic Management & Consumer Support, iDEC) Mr Rosmi Othman also attended the training.

Among the syllabuses provided are: -

• Module 1: Introduction to Blockchain Technology (1 day)
• Module 2: Setup & Deploy Blockchain Master Nodes (2 days)
• Module 3: Smart Contract Programming Using Solidity (2 days)
• Professional Certification: Certified Ethereum And Solidity Practitioner (ETH1O2 / SOL 1O1).

This exercise has been conducted by Dr. Mohd Anuar Mat Isa, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Training Instructor, from iExplo Tech company with a former lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM), Prof. Dr. Ramlan Bin Mahmod.
