In conjunction with the UPM Quality and Innovation (HKIP) 2017, iDEC has been shortlisted for the assessment of the Workplace Environmental Quality Award (5S / EKSA). The assessment session was held on 24 October 2017 to evaluate the iDEC environment and work space in implementing the 5S. Panel of assessors are Mrs. Zaidina Mohd Daud (Faculty of Science) and Mrs. Kalthom Abu Bakar (6th College) have selected iDEC Alpa Building and iDEC Gamma for the assessment. They were accompanied by Mrs. Hamidah Meseran, Mrs. Lailawati Idris and Mrs. Azhana Abdullah. Also present were Puan Zainab Abdul Rahman, Head of iDEC Alpha Zone and Madam Hasimah Ahmad Sejani, Head of iDEC Gamma Zone.
