Serdang, 26 January 2026 – The iDEC Recreation and Welfare Club (KRiDEC) successfully held its 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 26 January 2026, attended by 129 members. The meeting was officiated by KRiDEC Patron, YBhg. Professor Ts. Dr. Nurfadhlina Mohd Sharef, who is also the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
In her officiating speech, the KRiDEC Patron expressed appreciation to the committee members and club members for their continued commitment and support in making various welfare and recreational activities successful. She also emphasized the important role of the club in fostering a sense of belonging, enhancing staff well-being, and supporting a harmonious and balanced working environment at UPM.
The meeting began with a welcoming address by the KRiDEC Chairman, who conveyed his appreciation to members for their cooperation and active participation throughout the previous term. He also highlighted the club’s achievements, challenges encountered, and KRiDEC’s future direction in planning and implementing more impactful activities.
Among the main agenda items was the presentation of KRiDEC’s activity report for the previous session, covering the implementation of welfare, sports, recreational, and social programs aimed at enhancing well-being and strengthening camaraderie among iDEC staff. The club’s financial report was also presented to ensure that fund management was carried out transparently, accountably, and prudently.
The motion and proposal discussion session provided members with the opportunity to express views and ideas openly and constructively for the continuous improvement of KRiDEC’s management and activities.
The organization of the 9th KRiDEC Annual General Meeting clearly reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to good governance and strengthening KRiDEC’s role as an inclusive welfare and recreational platform. It is hoped that all decisions and plans agreed upon will be effectively implemented and benefit all members throughout 2026.
