SERDANG, 23 January 2025 – The iDEC Welfare and Recreation Club (KRiDEC) successfully held its 8th Annual General Meeting at the Radin Omar Engineering Auditorium, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The meeting commenced with a prayer recital, followed by a video presentation showcasing KRiDEC activities throughout the 2023/2025 session. Key agenda items included the confirmation of the minutes of the 7th KRiDEC Annual General Meeting, presentation of matters arising, and presentation and approval of the KRiDEC financial report for the year ended 31 December 2024.

The meeting also marked the dissolution of the KRiDEC Committee for the 2023/2025 session and the appointment of a new committee for the 2025/2027 session. Several proposals were also presented to further strengthen the club’s welfare, recreational and community-building activities among iDEC staff.

The event continued with the presentation of souvenirs to the auditors and certificates of appreciation to the 2023/2025 KRiDEC Committee members in recognition of their dedication and contributions. A lucky draw session was also held, adding to the excitement and camaraderie among members.

Congratulations are extended to the newly appointed KRiDEC Committee for the 2025/2027 session, led by Ts. Rostam Abu Bakar. May the new leadership carry out the trust entrusted to them with dedication and further strengthen KRiDEC as a platform for staff welfare, recreation and team spirit within iDEC.
