11 October 2019, 8.55 a.m : Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatimah Sidi, iDEC Director shared about four (4) groups of people according to Imam Al-Ghazali :

  • First (Someone Who Knows (knowledgeable), and He Knows That He Knows) - This group is the best of all. For, the person who knows that he knows to be intelligent, has the knowledge and knows that the knowledge gained must be used together.
  • Second (Someone Who Knows (Knowledgeable), But Doesn't Know That He Knows) - This second group is often found in community life and actually has the potential or knowledge but does not realize or optimize it for the benefit of the people.
  • Third (Someone who does not know and knows that he does not know) - This third group of people are those who are in the process of seeking knowledge from something unknown but trying hard to find out.
  • Fourth (One who does not know and does not know that he does not know) - The fourth person is the worst, hard to remember, always knowledgeable, right to answer all questions, but he knows nothing. So, we can say to the people in this group is more misleading because they have no clear knowledge.
