UPM @ Serdang Village DIGITAL KNOWLEDGE was officiated by YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Communications and Multimedia, Ministry of Communications and Multimedia and member of Puchong Parliament. The Center for Information and Communication Development (iDEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia is also involved in the program of UPM @ DESA CULTURE - DIGITAL KNOWLEDGE community networking program. A program organized by the School of Graduate Studies, UPM was held at Serdang Village National Secondary School (SMK). The main purpose of organizing the program is to raise awareness of digital science to local audiences. Among the activities are exhibitions, cyber security talks and Power Point pitching competitions. The AV Broadcasting Section and the Multimedia Section have provided assistance in providing launch montages as well as video recording and technical services.
