August 2023, Serdang: In conjunction with the University Putra Malaysia's Staff Sports and Recreation Day, scheduled every Wednesday, a sports competition among the departments under the Deputy Director of ICT Services (PICT) was held on August 16, 2023, at IOI City Mall (bowling) and on August 23, 2023, at KPZ (sepak takraw). This four-cornered contest involved the Application Operations Division (BOA), User Support Division (BSP), ICT Infrastructure Division (BIT), and a combination of the Communication and Multimedia Division (BKM) together with the Administration Division (BPT).

The bowling competition featured four prize categories. The highest pinfall award was won by Mr. Azman Shah (BOA) for the men's category, achieving a total pinfall of 501 points. For the women's category, the highest pinfall award went to Ms. Fatimah Suria (BSP) with a total of 471 points. Overall, the bowling championship was claimed by the Application Operations Division (BOA) with the highest cumulative score of 3781 points.

The four-cornered Sepak Takraw tournament took place at Dewan Putra 3, Kolej Pendeta Za’ba. The final result favored BOA as they maintained their championship title for the second event of this sports competition, while BSP emerged as the runner-up.
