1 August 2023, iDEC delegation of 23 people from 12 executive officers and 11 non-executive officers who are also partly recipients of the Golden Keyboard Award 2023 had the opportunity to gain experience and inspiration with the USM CIO, Prof. Dato' Dr. Faisal Rafiq Mahamd Adikan, who is also the former Vice Chancellor of USM regarding ICT management at USM. Together throughout the sharing and discussion were the Director of the Knowledge, Communication and Technology Center (PPKT), Mr. Ahmad Fadhlul Irham bin Yusoff and staff from the USM Application Section. This sharing session was held at the MAPITA Seminar Hall, USM's EUREKA Complex, Penang.

This bilateral discussion revolves around the management and development of ICT application systems and services provided at PPKT. The management of the financial system and the health system became a hot topic in this sharing session. Commercial services that contribute to income generation are also touched upon in this discussion. The sharing session ended at about 1 afternoon and concluded with a souvenir presentation event from both parties.
