Serdang, March 20, 2024: The election of the Student Representative Council (MPP) of Universiti Putra Malaysia for the session 2023/2024 was conducted from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., involving a total of 12,126 UPM students casting their votes on that day.

iDEC officials have been appointed as Executive Advisors in the Main Election Committee of the Student Representative Council (JKIPMPP) to assist in the smooth running of the voting process. Voting was conducted online at the Serdang and Bintulu campuses using the Putra Voting application. The system for this voting process was developed by iDEC, which includes candidate registration, voter registration, voting, and tallying of votes.
