September 2023: The Information and Communication Development Center (IDEC) conducted a Benchmark ICT Visit to Public Universities in the East Zone (UMPSA, UMT, UNISZA, and UMK) from September 4th to 6th, 2023. This visit was led by Mr. Mohd Zul Mohd Yusoff and attended by a total of 22 staff members from the User Support Division, Application Operations Division, and Multimedia Communication Division.

The purpose of this visit was to acquire knowledge and experience related to ICT management in the visited public universities. The discussion sessions focused on application development management, customer management, ICT operations management, and the implementation of smart campuses.

Overall, this visit activity successfully achieved its objective of providing exposure to iDEC staff regarding ICT implementation in other universities and, subsequently, enhancing efforts to provide the best ICT services to UPM's community in the future.
