iDEC Asset and Inventory Inspection Committee

The functions of this committee are as follows:

1. Conduct inspections on all movable assets (Capital Property/Low Value Movable Assets Responsibility Center every year;
2. Ensuring the location and general/true user of the movable asset is the same between the records in the Asset System (FAMS) and the physical movable asset;
3. Inform the Asset Officer of any change in location and user for update Action by the Asset Officer in FAMS;
4. Identify assets that are damaged and need to be repaired or disposed of and notify for Actions of asset officers/users;
5. Identify assets that are not used and notify for action by the relevant user/department;
6. For movable assets that are not found, a report must be submitted to the Head of Department/Head of the responsibility center for further action;
7. Complete DF04/AST - MOVEABLE ASSETS INSPECTION FORM (KEWPA-11) and submit to the Head of the Responsibility Center for verification within 1 month from the date the inspection is carried out; and
8. Submit the completed DF04/AST - MOVABLE ASSETS INSPECTION FORM (KEWPA-11) to the Asset Management Finance Division, bursar's office within 1 month from the Date of the inspection.
