The rapid development of ICT technology, impacts the InfoComm Development Center (iDEC). iDEC is responsible for planning, developing and implementing ICT activities and projects in line with its mission, namely "Develop and strengthen teaching, research and administrative systems through the provision of information and technology systems widely and comprehensively".

iDEC's involvement in the Strategic Plan of Universiti Putra Malaysia (PS UPM) 2021-2025 is for Goal 5 and Strategic Objective 5. The 5th goal is "Strengthening Institutional Governance, Financial Sustainability and Green Sustainability Practices" with Strategic Objective 5 namely " Improving Infrastructure, Library Services, Information Technology and Communication Systems ".

To achieve these strategic goals and objectives, iDEC has prepared 3 key performance indicators (KPIs), 7 key thrusts and 20 key initiatives. This information has been stated in the form of infographics as below:

iDEC will successfully implement the action plan and together succeed in the UPM Strategic Plan 2021-2025.
