The visibility of iDEC is increasingly evident with the launch of Smart Putra®Bus in conjunction with the Pre -Launch Ceremony and Inauguration of the UPM Golden Jubilee Celebration Logo which was completed by YBhg. Vice Chancellor of UPM on 30 December 2020. Smart Putra®Bus is a smart application that optimizes campus bus movement schedules, confirms passengers, records the number of passengers and reports statistics 'live' to the control center. Students can find out information on the movement, arrival and departure of the next bus to facilitate travel planning to the lecture location.

Interestingly, this Smart Putra®Bus also provides free internet service to passengers by applying the concept of anywhere, anytime and any device. This campus bus digitization initiative will be able to help the university monitor the speed and record each bus movement pattern map to help provide predictive analytics aimed at, improving the efficiency of campus bus management in the future.
