Universiti Putra Malaysia continued its knowledge activities despite being shocked by the Covid 19 pandemic. Learning and teaching, seminars, workshops, meetings or other official activities, were carried out online with the use of video conferencing applications. In an effort to strengthen the use of digital information technology, educators, officials, university students and the community must change and use communication technology more efficiently, effectively and able to deliver information faster and more influentially.

The Information and Communication Development Center (iDEC) takes steps to improve ICT technology to ensure that it can be used properly without any problems. A study has been conducted among educators and employees of the University regarding the video conferencing applications of choice and iDEC has implemented the procurement of application licenses so that the previously limited functions can be used better.

VIDEO CONFERENCE APPLICATION

A series of exercises related to video conferencing applications were held to provide a clearer explanation of each of the functions available in various video conferencing applications. The choice of application is up to the educator or administrator if they want to use it for PdP sessions, webinars, workshops or meetings.
