SERDANG, 4 July 2026 – The InfoComm Development Centre (iDEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), successfully organised the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (ISMS) Internal Audit Course from 2 to 3 July 2026 at the Exa Training Room, iDEC Alpha.

Organised in collaboration with the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), the programme provided participants with comprehensive exposure to the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard and internal auditing practices. The course aimed to strengthen participants' understanding of the implementation of the Information Security Management System (ISMS). The sessions were conducted by Puan Wan Noor Asiah binti Wan Mohamad Nawi, who facilitated the programme through presentations, interactive discussions, and practical exercises based on real-life scenarios.

A total of 36 iDEC officers participated in the programme. The successful organisation of this course reflects iDEC's continuous commitment to enhancing the competencies of its internal auditors in supporting the effective implementation and continual improvement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) at UPM.
