Serdang, June 18, 2020: The transformation of education at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has now shifted from conventional teaching and learning (PdP) to more dynamic and creative PdP as the current developments. In line with the transformation of the Smart Campus under the incentive of PUTRA @ SMART CLASSROOM UPM, the User Support Division (BSP), InfoComm Development Center (iDEC) has taken the initiative to conduct a 'Interactive Presentation' operation training workshop via "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD ) on June 18 and 19, 2020 at the Seminar Room C, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, UPM.

The training organized by UPM in collaboration with CASIO Malaysia was attended by staff from the Consumer Support Division (BSP). The objective of the training is to provide exposure and understanding of Project Wireless Wireless Operations for more interactive classroom environment implementation. It will also facilitate wireless collaboration with personal computers (laptops) or mobile devices as a more efficient, streamlined and user-friendly presentation medium. Director of iDEC, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Fatimah Sidi noted that this BYOD technology will provide an opportunity for lecturers and students to implement innovative teaching and learning that further enhances the effectiveness of student learning.
